Counting Vehicles

Cars, trucks and vehicles oh my! Typically a fascination that lots of boys and girls (mostly boys) have in their toddler years. My nephew was that but to the extreme, truly obsessed. To me this was a fun challenge, creating something visual that incorporates his favourite things. I went through all his vehicle toys and picked out the top ten in popularity. This was my first counting poster and I wanted it to look fun and clear so that he understood what car and the amount to look for.

As with all my posters, once completed I list them on my Etsy shop in hopes that other car-obsessed children can enjoy this design and help learn their numbers.

My rough sketches are a way for me to explore different layouts and ideas. Once I get them all out on paper, I usually have a clear idea of what I want the final product to look like.
