Marvel Tea

student | 2012

In one of my classes at Humber College we had the whole semester to complete three conceptual designs. We had to show our process work and present the final design to the class. What I loved about this class was that for the first time we could design anything we wanted.

At that time I had become a Marvel fan and wanted to explore a design concept using the superheros. After brainstorming I liked that each superhero had very distinct personality traits and had to figure out what kind of product had a variety of flavours that I could work with. And then bam! It was so clear, I would use tea.

It was a lot of fun breaking down existing flavours and connecting them to personality traits. The descriptions were a key element to this project. I wanted to use connecting words to describe each character and flavour. As a shout out to the classic collectable Marvel cards, I wanted the inside of the lid to show the basic info of each Avenger.
