Counting Dinosaurs

My 4 year old nephew was going through an intense dinosaur obsession phase and at this time he didn’t know how to count. I had always wanted to create a children’s dinosaur poster and this was my opportunity! I always like seeing sets of prints and wanted to try it out.

I think it’s pretty straight forward, the idea is to find the number of dinosaurs on the left and count that many in the poster.

I sat with him and he listed off his top 10 favourite dinosaurs and started loosely doodling them in my sketchbook. I wanted the dinosaurs to be friendly looking and colourful.
